Hand-shaped entirely from natural limestone, this sculpture is the result of patient craftsmanship, where every gesture guides the material rather than forcing it. Its soft, slightly velvety surface reveals the subtle nuances of the stone, while its organic curves and sculpted openings create a harmonious dialogue between solid and void.
The inspiration for this piece originates from the forms that nature slowly shapes over time — rocks hollowed out by water, pebbles polished by the wind, cavities born of erosion. In the workshop, the sculpture gradually revealed itself, as if it already existed within the stone, simply waiting to be freed.
The rounded volumes appear to be in motion, almost alive, while the openings allow light to pass through, giving the whole a natural breath. Every detail bears the trace of manual labor, affirming the unique character of the work.
More than just an object, this sculpture embodies a meeting between the artisan's hand and the memory of the stone — a singular piece, at once raw, sensitive, and profoundly timeless.
